The Parental Brain Transformation

Workshop

Ideal for: pregnant parents, new parents, partners, and anyone curious about the neuroscience of becoming a parent.

Pregnancy and early parenthood represent one of the most profound neurobiological transitions of the human lifespan. This 90 minute workshop explores the science of the “parental brain”, including the neural networks that support bonding, attunement, emotional regulation, empathy, and responsive caregiving.

You’ll learn how your brain changes during pregnancy and postpartum, how your baby’s brain synchronizes with yours, and why sensitivity and heightened awareness are normal and protective. Through guided reflections and practical exercises, you’ll build skills that strengthen connection, reduce stress, and support your own well-being.

Workshop

Infant sleep is biologically unique, and understanding it can relieve enormous pressure for parents. This workshop introduces the science of infant sleep and brain development, emphasizing what is normal, expected, and healthy in the early years. Learn how co-regulation, nurture, and presence support your baby’s developing stress system; why night waking and variable rhythms are part of human biology; how cultural expectations can increase stress; and how to set up flexible, responsive sleep practices that protect both infant and parental mental health without sleep training.
